Summer 2025 - Ponte Vedra - Davis Park Complex

Registration is open for Summer 2025 Youth Flag Football here in Northeast Florida! Great for first-timers, kids who participate in other sports, and experienced athletes, flag football provides the same excitement and development as real football, without the contact!

We offer the ability for friends and family to participate on the same team each season. The best way to ensure your athletes are on the same team is to register early (saving $$$), and filling in the “Buddy Requests/Coach Requests” during your registration process.

Another great way to ensure your athletes are grouped with friends, is to have a parent coach! We provide great materials for first-time coaches (https://gridironfb.com/pages/gridiron-coachs-library), we are happy to work with you to become thebest coach and mentor possible! SPACE IS LIMITED. ONCE A DIVISION IS FULL, REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE FOR THAT DIVISION. IF WE NEED PLAYERS TO COMPLETE A TEAM, WE WILL SEND AN EMAIL TO ANYONE WHO BEGAN REGISTRATION BUT WERE TOLD THERE WAS NO ROOM LEFT. YOUR INFORMATION WILL BE SAVED IN THE SYSTEM SO THERE IS NO NEED TO EMAIL US TO ASK IF THERE IS SPACE.

Program Details

6 week schedule (Friday Nights Only) Beginning JUNE 13, 2025

6-7 regular season games, potential postseason games.

K-6th Grade: 6v6 Flag Football

7th-8th Grade: 5v5 Flag Football

Everyone plays every game

No tryouts or drafts - rosters are formed by friend and/or coach requests; single players placed on teams with similar schools or neighborhoods; players will also be dispersed by grade level evenly.

NOTE: If your friend request is on another coaches team that they have be invited to, we can not accommodate those requests.

NOTE: No refunds will be given if we can not honor a friend/coach request.

If you do not have a coach and/or friend request, we suggest playing in the recreational division for a better experience.

If we have less than 4 recreational teams, we may have inter-division matchups so teams are not playing the same teams every week.

Teams are grade based

Practices are (45) minutes (determined by coach) with (45) minute games that consists of two (20) minute halves

*Some coaches may have a mid-week practice that they will coordinate with parents. Practice days outside of game day are not set by the league.

Game format may vary based on number of athletes in each age group

RECREATIONAL TEAM RULES:

THIS DIVISION IS FOR FREE AGENTS (NO COACH) AND NEW PLAYERS. IT IS STILL COMPETITIVE BUT PLAYERS DO NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT PLAYING A TEAM WITH NUMEROUS SEASONS/YEARS TOGETHER.

NO PRE-FORMED TEAMS LIKE COMPETITVE

UP TO 4 FRIENDS CAN PLAY TOGETHER

IF YOU REGISTER AS A PRE-FORMED TEAM, YOU WILL BE MOVED TO COMPETITIVE IF SPACE PERMITS.

IF THERE IS NO SPACE IN COMPETITIVE, YOU WILL HAVE THE OPTION TO TRANSFER TO ANOTHER LOCATION (DAY OF WEEK FOR GAMES MAY BE DIFFERENT)

OTHER OPTION WILL BE TO RECEIVE REFUNDS WITH $25 BEING WITHELD

Season Dates (Game times are between 530pm-10pm - PLEASE BE PREPARED TO PLAY ANYTIME DURING THESE HOURS.)

PLEASE BE PREPARED TO PLAY ALL 6 WEEKS LISTED BELOW. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN DUE TO YOUR SCHEDULE NOT WORKING WITH THE LEAGUE SCHEDULE.

Equipment

An official Gridiron Football Flag Football Uniform (Jersey + Shorts) is included and is yours to keep

An official Gridiron Football flag belt is provided for use

Rubber cleats or sneakers (No metal spikes)

Mouth-guards are required at all times during practice and games
